Friends of the Children New York is a chapter of a nationwide organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of generational poverty through salaried, professional mentoring. We select children in New York facing multiple systemic obstacles and commit to working with those children from kindergarten to graduation, for 12+ years, no matter what. Our Annual 'Run With Friends' 5K event and peer-to-peer fundraising campaign is an opportunity for people like you to get involved in this life-changing work.
